As promised.

If I may retain your interest beyond 'hot young singles', I am preparing a new website to induce some sort method to this madness. With this new website, a new blog. This blog will contain more information as to what I am doing and how it is being done in hand with my prior tendencies towards full frontal imagery.
Alas, I am in Argentina.
So, many things strike me here at first but quickly fade into the norm. Its amazing to realize how interchangeable life becomes beyond basic needs. First of all, food. I was a vegetarian for awhile before I came to Buenos Aires, but when in BsAs, do as the porteƱos do. 5 pesos, or the equivalent of U$S1.75 gets you a chorizipan, aka the sausage of the people. With chimichurri (salsa "picante", ie not spicy but kind of and rare so you take what you can get) and salsa criolla (diced tomatoes, onions, peppers, angels' tears, and probably some MSG), this becomes a staple quickly.
Pizza is also extremely common here. Typically without tomato sauce, Argentines have managed to reinvent the wheel on this one. Cosmos, Jalinos, and even dominos, will never be the same after fugazetta. Simply cheese (about 2 inches) and onions. Your breath smells like shit and you can't eat for 7 hours afterwards but im not here to meet girls or spend money so fuckin ollie-oop to windmill dunk on that.
Ice cream. Its just way better here. Now I don't have to not buy the best ice cream because it has Phish branded on it. Even if "trey could rip it so much faster", he should still drown himself for ruining so many inpressionable youths music canons AND blank cds (for yet another phish tour '95-05 new hampshire (3rd day bro!) cover of casey jones where he rips the 45 minute solo bootleg)
i digress,
Produce. Yea, I've had some. Azns own all of the markets here or maybe just in my hood cause its a typhoons breath away from barrio de chino aka chinatown (no mystery in this one, the water supply is already contaminated... 2 points for polanski reference), but... they're absolutely amazing. Every day there are small stands in between houses with fresh produce. I stopped to watch today as the meticulously stack hundreds of strawberries for display as aesthetics are absolutely essential in this city (for another post). Everything is fresh and mostly grown in the providences or in neighboring countries. Imagine American produce without bitter foreign relations, tariffs. We get produce from all of the countries that America encited coups in! Was it really worth it? And back to the Azns. Holy god. Imagine how weird it is seeing an azn looking person speaking spanish. Looking at a chinese food restaurant menu in spanish???? Total mind fuck. Especially being an SSL kid... i thought my accent was bad.
Anyways, thats food in Argentina.
Im still working, studying, BEING A MATURE RESPONSIBLE ADULT, and getting into the hottest parties in BA for free 'to work' or 'hustle' as we call it in the office. More on all of these soon. Business cards, new website, new blog all to come so i can start having some motivation to publish these gems.
Luego chicos.
PS: Argentines love talking about 9/11 but not so much the deseparecidos. be warned.
