Just got back from La Festival Buen Dia, an international arts conference in Mar Del Plata. Met people from Sao Palo, Brooklyn, Tokyo (met the video artist who made The Knife "we share our mothers health video" and talked about kids on "speed"... energy drinks), Prauge, Paris, Istanbul, and Berlin not to mention everyone from all of AR; every single one came front-in' their big guns whether it be video art, electro battle beats, dancecore break-beats, grindcore, or drawrings... it was 3 buen dias. Went with the ZZK crew to rep the label and discovered the power of a flashy camera. VIP bracelets, free drinks, and more attention than anyone trying to work could ever want. Being the only person "together" enough to operate under any level of professionalism, I inadvertently became "el fotografo official" of the nightly parties and also inadvertantly offered my services of providing 10 bands/djs, 1 massive club, 2 organizations and a bunch of wacky art-types what will probably be their only recolections of this weekend. All night bus ride, sleep now, upload tomorrow.
